International cooperation

The Supreme Administrative Court participates in both regional and worldwide cooperation between supreme administrative jurisdictions. The Association of the Councils of State and Supreme Administrative Jurisdictions of the European Union and the International Association of Supreme Administrative Jurisdictions serve as forums for discussion and exchange of information, and compile information on the case law of the participating courts.

In addition, the Supreme Administrative Court participates in cooperation coordinated by the Venice Commission of the Council of Europe (European Commission for Democracy through Law). The work of the Venice Commission aims at upholding the three underlying principles of Europe's constitutional heritage: democracy, human rights and the rule of law. One of the areas in which the Commission works is cooperation with the constitutional courts and other supreme jurisdictions of the member States of the Council of Europe.

Apart from the aforementioned multilateral cooperation, the Supreme Administrative Court has also bilateral cooperation with courts in several countries.
