Interview requests
Interviews are primarily given by the management of the Supreme Administrative Court.
Please send requests for interviews to the Registry by email.
The request should state:
- the reporter’s name and outlet
- the topic and perspective of the article
- possible questions or themes
- publication date or schedule
- the preferred interview format (telephone, email, studio, etc.)
The Supreme Administrative Court only expresses its views on judicial matters in its decisions and cannot comment on its decisions in other connections. Background questions can also be addressed to the network of media judges managed by the National Courts Administration.

Visual materials for the media
Images of the President, logo or premises of the Supreme Administrative Court can be requested from the communications department by sending an email to viestinta.kho@oikeus.fi.
The use of images must comply with the terms and conditions of use indicated by the Supreme Administrative Court, and the source of the image must be indicated. Images may be used for journalistic and information purposes concerning the Supreme Administrative Court, unless otherwise stated in connection with the image.

Requests for information by the media
The communications department of the Supreme Administrative Court provides information on, for example, documents and the processing stages of cases under consideration. We disclose information on the decisions of the Supreme Administrative Court and other public documents in accordance with the conditions laid down in the Act on the Openness of Government Activities.

The request for information should specify the document or information concerned by the request as precisely as possible. The Court aims to process requests for information by the media as quickly as possible.

Publicity and secret information
Documents drawn up and held by public authorities are public unless they have been decreed secret by law. Provisions on public access to documents are laid down in the Act on the Openness of Government Activities. The publicity of the Supreme Administrative Court’s procedural documents is also governed by the Act on the Publicity of Administrative Court Proceedings.
