Cases at the Court

The Supreme Administrative Court processes approximately 4,000 cases annually.

Almost 90 percent of the appeals processed at the Supreme Administrative Court concern decisions made by regional administrative courts. Appeals may also be brought before the Supreme Administrative Court on decisions made by the Market Court in cases of public procurement and competition matters, as well as in cases concerning the registration of patents or trademarks. As a general rule, an appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court requires a leave to appeal.

Decisions by the plenary session of the Government, as well as for example the Central Tax Board, are appealed directly to the Supreme Administrative Court.
