By when must be application for leave to appeal and the appeal be submitted?

The instructions attached to the decision issued by an administrative court or the Market Court, i.e. the appeal instructions, specify the deadline by which you may lodge an appeal. The main rule is that the appeal must be lodged within 30 days of the date of service of the administrative court’s decision, excluding that date. The appeal period may also be shorter or longer than this.

Always check the appeal instructions to see what the appeal period is for the decision issued to you. It is not possible to extend the appeal period. The appeal must be submitted to the Supreme Administrative Court within the deadline. Appeals received after the deadline will not be considered.

An appeal submitted via the e-service or by email must be received by the Supreme Administrative Court no later than on the last day of the appeal period. An appeal submitted by other means must be received by the Supreme Administrative Court no later than 4.15 p.m. on the last day of the appeal period.

You do not need to submit the documents separately in paper form if you have already submitted them via the e-service or by email.

Please note that the sender is always responsible for the delivery of documents.
